The "Transcending the Law of Karma" article series has come to an end. This was a three article series. Following is the summary and link for each part.

Joining The Herd Again!

Here I am, back in the herd again.  Today is the first day.  I hope most of you understand what I am talking about.  Yes, the JOB!

Not going into the details on why and what does it have in it, I will just prefer to write what I have to say at the moment.  I am feeling thrilled at this new place.  A kind of excitement that would be for the first time in my life.

I am feeling blessed to be surrounded by intelligent people around me and this is the fact I am just unable to ignore.

Amazing learning experience here and I am sure more posts will follow on this.  :)

Every Game Has Rules

Every game has rules that all the players must follow.  The better you understand the rules, it is easier for you to finish the game with flying colors.

Some of you should be getting the message on what game and what rule  I am talking about here.  Yes, it is about life and the rule is Karma.

Imagine you are playing snakes and ladders with your son/daughter for the first time.  You would teach them all the rules of the game, make sure they understand the rules by playing the game with them.  Would you change the rule in the middle of the game?  Most possibly, no.

Would you always win the game with your son/daughter just because you bought the game and you are the one that had explained the rules to him/her?  No, right?

Then why do we start thinking that God or the Almighty should magically help us?  Giving us an understanding of His rules is help.  All we need to do now is follow.  Here is a small example:

Once upon a time there was a very poor man.  He earned very little and had very little to eat every day.  Once he saw a pious man walking.  He called him and requested him to make a request to God on his behalf.  He said, just tell God that please, instead of giving me so little every day, just give me all what I am ought to receive in this life 'all at once'.  The God may then end my life, but please help me reduce this daily suffering by doing this.  The pious man agreed to take his request to God.

The pious man got the chance to talk to God and he presented the request.  The God agreed and gave him a sack full of grains and told the pious man to give this sack to that man and say this is what he has to get the entire life. The pious man did as instructed.

After a few days, the pious man was walking through the same route and he was astonished by what he saw.  He saw that the poor man was alive and more than that, he was not poor anymore.  He was rich, happy and prosperous.  The pious man was puzzled, so he decided to ask God about this.

He went to God and told him what he saw.  God explained, there are rules.  When you gave that man the single sack of grain, he did not eat it all.  He called all the people around him, shared with them and ate.  He had done good karma.  So, now he deserved the reward and not death.  He, therefore, got more grain.  Again, he did the same thing.  Shared and then consumed. Again he was rewarded.  And, he is still doing the same. :)

Isn't the law just amazing?  This simple story was told to me by a learned man and it has been on my mind since a long long time since then.  I am glad I could put it into words here.  I hope it helps others gain insight as well.

With Power Comes Responsibility

This is one of the movie quotes that has effectively impregnated my mind.  It is taken from the movie Spiderman, where spiderman is told - "With great power comes great responsibility"

As we watch in the movie, the spiderman is confronted into a situation where he can do something and this situation comes only after he gets the power.  When he ignores doing something about it, he is hurt from inside.  This is the time he realizes that he is being reminded of his responsibility.  This happens to all of us.

If we have a skill or power, we are supposed to use it responsibly and not only for selfish reasons.  Of course, we need to stand up first to pull others up.  If we are aware, we can see that we are put into some situation for a purpose.  We are there for a reason, because we have the ability to do something.

I had a recent similar experience and it kept me thinking for days.
There is a small medical facility run by local voluntary doctors and nurses where I go to pray every day.  People usually get their blood pressure and sugar checked there so they do not have to go to a doctor or a hospital for that purpose.  Usually any volunteer doctor or nurse present there provides the service.

One fine day, a young guy comes as asks me if I knew some nurse who had come that day.  I said, one of them just left the premise.  He ran to see if she was still at the gate, but unfortunately she had left.  I also went behind him to see if he found her.  I asked him what was the issue, he said, he wanted to get his blood pressure checked.  I could see he was not well.

One of my friends, who has never volunteered at this medical facility, but is a nurse was sitting there waiting for her transport.  I requested her for help and she agreed, but she had no idea where things were kept so I went with her.  I usually do not go to that place if there is some experienced nurse (note this!).

She checked the blood pressure and it was high.  The guy was worried.  My friend advised him to sit and have a glass of water and she would measure it again.  Someone brought some water for him.  By that time, I was standing.  I checked his megmen and it was OA.  I quickly normalized it.

The pressure was checked and guess what - it was normal!  The smile on the guy's face was priceless.  He was so relieved.  I guess, the absence of other nurses was planned.

I monitored his megen for a day and half and it was normal. It was my responsibility that had put me into this situation.  I have never being present in the room while any person's blood pressure was measured in the past, except this day.

When you ask for something you get it

Yes, my life has repeatedly proved to me that if I ask I get it.  The trick lies in the specifics of asking what you want.

The Universe or God is very smart.  He knows how to get His way out of our wish list.  But however, our task is to keep asking.

The Inner voice told me to make the website The Vitality Cafe.  The response was pretty good. I was really happy with how it was all going.  This vacation, I showed the site to my mother and she was impressed too.  What else could have I asked for?  I was expecting criticism from her, but I got appreciation instead.

But as you know, I want to keep asking.  I asked for a particular amount to be earned from it.  And there you go, the genie is at work.  I have been provided with a big opportunity to present about it. I am really happy and excited about this.

So to all my friends - keep asking.  The Wish list should be on always!  Life is to be loved and lived.

Over Energized!

Watching MSCo's videos gives you tremendous energy and if you meditate along with that it is more like an atomic bomb.

I was watching a class video, which was in 4 parts and doing most meditation and experiment with him.  In parallel, I was also doing some of my case filing work in computer while listening to lectures.  It is not a good practice I would say, but I just cannot watch videos without doing anything else.  I feel restless.  Well this is another story.

At the end when I did the twin hearts meditation led by MSCo, I really felt over-energized.  You know, this is why it is said do it in group.  The energy gets distributed and someone can come to your help.

I did not realize at that moment what was happening.  I did not formulate this word in my brain at that time.  All I felt was I needed to do more grounding and blessing.

I blessed everyone I could remember.  I did grounding.  But still, I could not manage to do physical exercises.  Somehow I was too much energized and my mind did not want to get out of the state I think.

You see, over-energized does not necessarily mean you tend to have more energy to do physical work.  Sometimes, you reach at such a blissful state, you do not want to come back.  It is like you reach in a different dimension.

This is the reason grounding is very very very necessary.  You need to come back completely to this physical world and get connected to earth.  Because, we still need to continue this physical life.

I had to continue blessing for 10-15 minutes before I could get normal.  It is funny, I put my hands over my sleeping husband and transferred all the energy.  Poor guy, he had no idea what happened.  He woke up early that day.  He still has no idea why.

He has found significant relief from cough now.

But, I have learned my lesson.  It is very much necessary to do physical exercises before and after meditation.  Blessing and grounding is a must.  It will always be a good practice to keep a list of people, projects and places you intend to bless.  This will save you from thinking at the time when you are over-energized.  There are less chances that you will find them at that time because you know you will not want to come back from that state. :)

Serenity

While one practices the healing, one becomes more and more sensitive to the energy of people. It becomes easier and easier to connect with others as the practice continues. This easier connection leads to better empathy - putting ones own self in others' shoes. This empathy then grows and grows. At this point, it is important for the healer to practice self cleansing, otherwise one may get negativity from the people they are trying to heal.

As the empathy grows, one can easily connect with the people around them in day to day activities. One gets easily connected with people they meet and understand them better - because they can empathize with them!

The result? There is better understanding and harmony around them. This results in deeper and deeper penetration of happiness which I call "Serenity"

Happiness Deep Down

There are some things that you do and it gives you happiness so deep down that you cannot describe it.  It is a wonderful feeling.  Somehow it is so much peace, serenity really really really inside of you.

I cannot say where because it is really deep.

It is a blessing to have found out activities that give you this blissful feeling.

Yes, I have found it.

I will not write more on it, but just share a smile/laugh with the following related story.

A man and a woman had been married for more than 60 years. They had shared everything. They had kept no secrets from each other except that the little old woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about.

For all of these years, he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover. In trying to sort out their affairs, the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wife's bedside.

She agreed that it was time that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money totaling $95,000. He asked her about the contents.
"When we were to be married," she said, "my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you, I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll."

The little old man was so moved; he had to fight back tears. Only two precious dolls were in the box. She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving. He almost burst with happiness.
"Honey," he said "that explains the doll, but what about all of this money? Where did it come from?"

"Oh, that?" she said.  "That's the money I made from selling the dolls."

Lesson learned the hard way!

When you are into a situation, you never know what to call it.  Only when you are out of it and think about it, you get the proper label or adjective for it.  This is just a random observation on few of the incidences that I have been through.

This new place has taught me a lot and also gave me a lot of opportunities.  One wonderful thing that I learned is that you cannot be selfish with the knowledge you have gained.  I have learned few techniques of Energy Healing, but after marriage I did not use it on anybody except me.  And this was not good!  I was presented with a number of incidences when I could have used them, but I did not.  I just did not feel like.  Although, I used it on myself whenever I required it!

Now I got this horrible cold and fever - first time in almost 10 years.  I took all the medicines, gave myself all the healing.  Nothing helped.  One day - I decided I want the solution to it and talked over to one of my friends who also learned energy healing with me.  On talking to her, I got the insight that I should be using this on somebody other than me and the person has to be informed that I am doing this.  Who else could it be?

My husband, ofcourse!  I sent him the healing and guess what, I am perfectly alright now with the original enthusiasm for life.

This is what I call the lesson learned in a hard way!
